Job Title: PeopleSoft Developer

Location: The job can be performed remotely, but the candidate must be available between 8am. to 5pm Central Standard Time; The candidate will be required to participate in regularly scheduled development meetings as well as design meetings with business analysts and end users. Microsoft Teams is required.

Job Status: Contract, 20 hours per week, through the calendar year of 2024, or longer.

Position Summary: We are looking for a PeopleSoft developer, preferably with experience in the retirement/pension benefit administration functionality within PeopleSoft. The candidate will be a part of a small development team that is maintaining a solution that has been in production for several years. System development now consists of remedying open defect requests and designing and implementing system enhancements requested by the users. The candidate must have experience working with end users in defining solutions as well as testing the solution. The candidate is expected to follow client specific SDLC policies and procedures for documentation. Will work with delivered and custom code and projects for pension systems, in particular payroll, benefit payments, employer reporting, service purchase, member account, accounting, and enrollment and demographics.

Requirements:

• Client currently on version 8.59 of PeopleTools. HRMS/HCM, FSCM & CRM
• 10 years People Code experience with HRMS, FSCM and CRM.
• Experience with Application Designer, Process Scheduler, App Packages, nVision, Component Interfaces, Oracle SQL, Toad or SQL Developer, PS Query and Application Engine required. Also, BI Publisher, SQR, Case management, Oracle Webcenter (imaging), Security Administration, Oracle Tax Updates, and Self-Service.
• Experience using Phire and help desk solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly document projects so other developers can also learn about the project or work on it if needed.
• Share knowledge with developers and business analysts.
• Respond to emails and correspondence in a timely manner. Work with users directly and cc supervisor with all communication.
• Candidate is required to successfully complete a background check

Equipment: The candidate is responsible for providing their own laptop/workstation. The machine must have a modern supported, updated OS with up to date antivirus installed. Hard drive must be encrypted. Okta will be used for MFA. Client will provide the VPN client.
